Nacka aims to be a leading municipality in social work – do you want to be part of it?
We are looking for two coordinators for temporary positions who want to work with preventive measures to prevent at-risk youth from being drawn into crime and to change the trajectory for those already living a criminal lifestyle.
Your mission:
Together with six colleagues, you will coordinate the work concerning young offenders in Nacka municipality. We operate according to SIG (Social Intervention Groups), which is a collaborative structure where young people involved in crime and their families are supported through cooperation between various actors. Nacka has also established a collaboration with BUP SoS, a specialist unit focused on psychiatric care for children and adolescents who have SIG as an intervention. The working method of social intervention groups is based on collaboration at the individual level, where representatives from all relevant authorities, together with the young person, participate in a network. As a coordinator, you ensure close cooperation between social services and other authorities/actors, and that individual plans are established and closely monitored. The entire situation of the youth needs to be illuminated to ensure that they do not get stuck in crime. SIG is provided to young people who commit crimes and where there is a risk of developing a criminal lifestyle or participating in criminal networks.
We also work with SSPF (collaboration between school, social services, police, and leisure) which is a collaborative structure where the work concerning at-risk youth and their families is strengthened through cooperation between various actors. You will support and motivate youth involved in SSPF and engage their networks. The work aims to provide support early before problems escalate.
Your mission primarily involves working with youth and parents receiving support through SSPF. You will also work with youth receiving support through SIG and with the parents of these youth.
The position involves continuing the work with existing partners in Nacka and developing new forms of networks around the young and young adults who become relevant. Cooperation is already functioning well, but a deeper collaboration can provide new positive avenues for our youth. In SSPF/SIG, collaboration with the police is well established and functioning. As a coordinator, you will work closely with the youth and families while maintaining contacts with collaborative actors such as schools, police, and community organizations. Cooperation with the authorities is close to ensure that the right interventions benefit the youth or young adult.
Is this you?
You have a strong ability to network and collaborate, while also being able to prioritize and structure your work independently. You express yourself well, can speak in front of a group, and lead individual meetings with engagement.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Experience working in socially disadvantaged areas
- Experience in governmental work with children and youth
- Experience working at an overarching and strategic level
- Good cultural competence
- A valid driver's license (B)
We offer:
We welcome you to an exciting job where you can make a difference for youth involved in crime. In Nacka, you will have the opportunity to work in a municipality that aims to be the best in Sweden and has openness and diversity as its vision and a fundamental value of trusting people's knowledge, will, and ability.
